go2llm API documentation

Quickstart

1. Create a key

Sign up, open the dashboard and create a separate API key for your project. The examples use the safe placeholder YOUR_API_KEY.

export GO2LLM_API_KEY=YOUR_API_KEY

2. Fetch the catalog

curl https://go2llm.tech/v1/models

Every model in the response carries its exact id, the supported modalities and its endpoints. Don't guess the endpoint from the model name.

3. Send your first request

For a model whose endpoint is messages:

curl https://go2llm.tech/v1/messages \
  -H "x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "anthropic-version: 2023-06-01" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"model":"claude-haiku-4-5","max_tokens":120,"messages":[{"role":"user","content":"Reply with one word: works"}]}'

For a model whose endpoint is chat.completions:

curl https://go2llm.tech/v1/chat/completions \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"model":"MODEL_ID_FROM_CATALOG","max_tokens":120,"messages":[{"role":"user","content":"Reply with one word: works"}]}'

A successful request returns HTTP 200. Once that works, move on to setting up SDKs and tools.
